COME AS YOU ARE

Why Saturday?
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath day of the Lord your God . . "

Seventh-day Adventists embrace the observance of the Sabbath, in accordance with the Fourth Commandment from Exodus 20:8-11, which designates Saturday as the Sabbath day of rest. This practice is rooted in the teachings of the Ten Commandments and involves refraining from unnecessary work and distractions on the seventh day.
Adventists celebrate the Sabbath through activities like Bible studies and worship services, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying nature. Additionally, they use this day to focus on serving their community, with the overarching goal of finding peace and reconciliation with both God and fellow humans in a world often filled with anxiety and division.
